Cabin 2 at Turner Falls: Hilltop Cabin Overlooking Honey Creek, Three Ways to Sleep

Book Direct and Save 10-15% over Vrbo, Expedia or Airbnb!

Cabin 2 sits on the same hill as Cabin 1, overlooking Honey Creek and the Arbuckle Mountains from a large open deck. The view is the same. What’s different is how many people it comfortably fits.

Three sleeping zones: a queen bed in the bedroom, a fold-out queen in the living room, and a twin. That makes Cabin 2 the better call when you have five people, or when two adults with kids want a cleaner split between grown-up space and kid space — without everyone sharing one room.

The Blue Hole is a 5-minute walk. Book direct and save 10–15% vs. Vrbo or Airbnb.

The View

Cabin 2 faces the same west-facing creek corridor as Cabin 1. Honey Creek runs below the hill. The deck looks out over the park with the Arbuckle Mountains in the background.

Multiple guests book this cabin in winter specifically for the off-season quiet: the creek running below, the park emptied out, the sunset behind the mountains from a chair you don’t have to share.

“Beautiful view overlooking the creek. Sunset view is awesome.”
— Shawna W., Vrbo

“Super quiet and remote. What more could we ask for? Will definitely be coming back.”
— Don H., Vrbo

“Quaint place inside the park. Very easy walk to the waterfall. Loved the outside deck areas!”
— Danielle D., Vrbo

A Note on the Layout

Cabin 2 is one half of a two-unit building — it shares the exterior deck area with the adjacent cabin. If privacy is the priority, Cabin 1 has a standalone deck. If you’re traveling with another family or group and want to book both sides together, Cabin 2 is the one to ask about.

When to Come

Summer (June–August): Peak season. The Blue Hole is the main draw. Book early; July fills first.

Spring (April–May): Waterfall runs strongest after spring rains. Fewer crowds. Wildflowers on the trails in April.

Fall (September–October): Cooler temperatures, fall color in the Arbuckle Mountains, the Red Dirt Music Festival in October. ATV season at Cross Bar Ranch.

Winter (November–March): Honey Creek is stocked with trout. The park is quiet. The deck and view don’t change — just the crowd size. Lowest rates of the year.
